A new playground to build brighter futures

In early October, the Mariscal Andres Avelino Caceres School in one of Lima’s shanty towns celebrated the inauguration of a new play- and sportsground, offering a vibrant space for recreation and growth.

This project was financed by Children of Lima and built through the hard work of the students’ parents, under the guidance of the school principal and Vladimir, a committed volunteer from our organization.

The new play area not only enhances the school environment but also serves as an extra incentive for the poorest children to attend school, providing a safe and enjoyable space that fosters learning and community.

This latest project builds on Children of Lima’s previous support, including the construction of a contention wall and new classrooms, creating lasting benefits for the students and families.
